What if culture came to you? That’s the challenge taken up by the Micro-Folie Mobile Margaux Médoc Tourisme! The only one of its kind in the Médoc, this travelling digital museum criss-crosses the region, making culture accessible to everyone.

A concentrate of culture a stone's throw from your home

Imagined in partnership with the Ministry of Culture and La Villette, Micro-Folie is an innovative cultural device that provides free, fun access to a selection of masterpieces from the greatest French and international museums: the Louvre Museum, Centre Pompidou, Musée d’Orsay, Château de Versailles, Musée du quai Branly, and many more.

More than 3,000 digital contents are available, organised into captivating themed collections: the Olympic Games, blue in art, the Paris collection, Corsica, Notre-Dame de Paris in 3D…. A true cultural and sensory voyage without leaving the Médoc!

An immersive experience for young and old

Thanks to an intuitive, interactive interface, la Micro-Folie can be adapted to suit all audiences: whether you’re on your own, with your family, on a school outing or with a group, you can choose a self-guided tour or one guided by our cultural mediator, Agnès. There are also specially-designed tours for children in schools and leisure centres.

A cultural project to serve the region

The Communauté de Communes Médoc-Estuaire and Margaux Médoc Tourisme have invested in this innovative project to bring culture closer to the residents of the area’s 10 communes. It adapts to each venue, can be set up and dismantled quickly, and so can alternate with other activities in the same spaces.

“The Micro-Folies is a great tool for artistic and cultural education for teachers, activity leaders and anyone who is curious,” stresses Christine Ribière, director of Margaux Médoc Tourisme.
